The Banana River is located in Central Florida, between Port Canaveral and Merritt island. While there is a huge variety of fish to go after in the Banana River, the most sought-after sport fish in this area are the spotted sea trout and redfish.
Have you ever seen the fall mullet run? It is pretty spectacular if you have not. The Indian River and Banana River Lagoon run parallel with the Atlantic Coast line where this southbound migration happens. Snook, Redfish, Bluefish, Lady Fish, Sharks, and much more will be a lot of fun to catch for Brevard County anglers. The most prized of all is the world famous common snook.
The Harbortown crew & staff will be exhibiting at the Orlando Boat Show! The Orlando Boat Show is Central Florida’s “Premier Boat Show” and will be hosted at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive in Orlando.
Shipwreck is definitely on the list of “worst case scenarios” for boaters, and even though the probability of it happening to you may be small, it does happen, and it’s best to be prepared.
